The Browns moved to Virginia!!!! This means we get to see them WAY more often than when they lived in Arizona. This also means that once in a while (hopefully more frequently) Alesa gets to have a play date with Harrison, who is only a month older.
On Monday, Harrison came over and spent the whole day with us!!!! Yay!!!

Here is the day in pictures:
9:00 am - teaching their babies how to take a nap! Oh, joy! At this point, I am wondering what was in their cereal this morning...and how do I duplicate this every day??? I should also mention that they spent 15 minutes when he first arrived playing with a puzzle! No, you didn't mis-read that...a puzzle! It was an amazingly silent interaction...so silent I almost fell asleep on the couch because they were being so good.
11:45 am - I was in desperate need of getting to the grocery store. So, with kids in tow we successfully navigated a HUGE cart/car around the store and I managed to actually enjoy myself!
After lunch (which included a LOT of laughter and noodles) both kids went down for a long nap!
3:15 pm - They spent the first 20 minutes after Harrison woke up from his 3 hr nap (Alesa was too excited to have a friend here and woke up after only 2 hours) watching a neighbors cat outside and jumping on the couch (I hope our landlord doesn't read our blog, because these are her couches!)
4:45 pm - determined to figure out how to put Elmo on. With their cuteness, they eventually won and I put it on for them.
We hope to see Harrison (along with his mom and dad) soon! Thanks for letting Alesa have a fun day!
I've watched other kids before, but they were either a little older or a little younger than Alesa. Watching the 2 of these kids was a breeze because they are right at the same developmental level. I could do this again! (Amber, give me a call anytime!)
