Yes, we are moving...but not far! We found a larger place to rent about 8 miles north of where we live now. We currently live in an 800 sq. feet apartment in Takoma Park and have truly LOVED living in this area and in our ward. However, as our family continues to expand (no, we are not having another baby, the current one just has LOTS of stuff) we needed to find a bigger place. Plus, we asked Taci to join us in our venture and so we needed sufficent space for all!
So, a bigger place we found! (first picture is from last year when Drew was building the "garages" so we could have some extra storage)
Current apt vs. new house
2 bedrooms ~ 5 bedrooms
1 bathroom ~ 2 bathrooms
1 parking space ~ 2 car garage
tiny shared yard ~ large yard to ourselves
small kitchen w/2 cupboards ~ large open kitchen w/tons of cupboards
shared laundry room ~ washer & dryer of our own
someone living above & below (even though we really like both) ~ no one in any direction

moving,
higher rent & utilities NOT included,
getting to know new neighbors,
leaving our ward,
longer commute to work (but only a little bit),

and finding new grocery stores
But I'm pretty sure that the pros outweigh the cons this time!!!
The second picture is showing our current apt. during "snowmageddon", we have the second level. That lump out front is our car. When we get to the new house on Saturday, I'll start taking picture to show how much space there really is!!!
